Decided to head out this past Sunday even though it was forecasted to be 2-3 ft waves in the bay and a small craft warning. We picked away at fish all morning on the troll out by the ammo pier but we definitely took a beating for those fish lol. After a couple of hours we decided to try in closer and picked away at each spot we stopped at closer in as well. We ended that day with about 10 fish up to 32 inches. All of those fish were caught on chartreuse tandem mojos. Well, what a difference 48 hours makes because we headed out this morning and had absolute lights out fishing from beginning to end with excellent conditions. We ended the day with about 20 fish to 40+ pounds but the high light of the day was 3 of those fish were in the 35-40 pound class. We picked some fish up jigging some 9 inch jigging spoons then we decided to troll since we weren't marking the fish too thick which turned out to be the right decision because by the end of the day it looked like all of the other charter boats in the area switching over from jigging/casting to trolling as well. All of the fish today were caught on chartreuse and white tandem mojos, 9 inch tsunami shads and 9 inch jigging world jigging spoons.
