Fishing Report for 3/20 & 3/22

We had our first scouting trip of the season Sunday and the plan was to check the entirety of the Raritan river since I heard multiple reports from multiple people that the fishing has been good there over the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately we were greeted with chocolate milk water and a mine field of floating trees with no fish. We even drove all the way up past the Edison boat ramp. I could probably count on my two hands how many fish we marked that day. Well, what a difference 24 hours and a spot change can make because today we got into an insane bite in the middle of the bay catching about 20 fish up to 30 inches in an hour and a half. We will be running a bunch of trips this week to get in on the action before the secret it out lol. All fish today were caught on white and chartreuse tandem mojos and 9 inch tsunami shads.
