Fishing Report for 09/25/2022

Yesterday was the first official striped bass trip for the fall on the boat and it definitely did not disappoint. We left the dock and headed to NY harbour and got to work with the live eels. We ended up getting 4 stripers in the 15 to 20 pound class in a couple of hours and lost countless others before heading in early. We even ended up catching someone's fishing pole which they must have just dropped in the water within the past 24 hours since it was in relatively good shape lol. It is very promising to see fish this size so early in the Fall so hopefully this season will be one for the books.
