After the crazy day of fishing we had yesterday we decided to run in back 24 hours later to the same exact spot and we had what I believe may have been one of the best striped bass fishing days I've ever seen. It was about 50 degrees, flat as a lake out and there was only one other boat fishing near us. We started out trolling for the first couple of hours and had double/triple headers pretty much the entire time. Once we got tired of that, we switched over to jigging Ben parker spoons and casting shads and had lights out fishing that way as well. We ended that day with about 30-40 fish to 30 pounds. With the rain forecasted for the next couple of days we will most likely not be fishing but we hope to get back out there this weekend before the crazy boat traffic lol. The fish caught trolling were on chartreuse and white tandem mojos, 9 inch tsunami shads and a chartreuse spinner shad umbrella rig. The fish caught jigging/casting were on chartreuse and white 9 inch Ben Parker spoons, a 2 oz chartreuse casting mojo and a NLBN 6 inch shad.
