Decided to head out this morning instead of Sunday due to the 20 mph winds forecasted for tomorrow and we were rewarded with 10 fish up to 34 inches in 3 hours. The bite started off slow with overcast conditions and a bunch of boats on top of each other in the back bay. After a while a bunch of boats started to head up the Raritan river but I knew better than to head up that way after what happened last Sunday so we stuck it out where we were at. As soon as the sun came out from behind the clouds it was game on. All fish today were caught on white and chartreuse tandem mojos, 9 inch tsunami shads and a white 9er's lures spinner shad umbrella rig.
