After not having been out for Striped Bass since last Thursday and Sea bass fishing on Saturday on the Hog Hunter I was not too sure what we were in for heading out this morning. Took a look in the lower bay and to my surprise there was not one sign of life anywhere. Took the ride out to the tip of the hook/upper bay area and and found a large school of fish with only a couple of boats on them. Landed 12 fish up to 25 pounds on the troll within 2 hours then headed back to the dock. All of the fish today were caught on a mixture of chartreuse and white tandem mojos, a chartreuse spinner shad umbrella rig and a 9 inch shads. From the looks of it the striped bass fishing seems to not be slowing down and should continue until at least the first or second week of June.
